Make and Takes Crafty Challenge: Recycled Art

Are you ready for a challenge? I’m teaming up with Heather from Dollar Store Crafts to bring you a fun crafty challenge just in time for Earth Day. With just a few supplies, we want to see what you will come up with! We’re looking for crafty works of art, all with just a few simple materials. Starting today, April 12th through April 20th, get your craft on!

Here’s the Challenge:

  • create a work of art with one or more of the following supplies:
  1. paper tube
  2. egg carton
  3. plastic containers
  • use any other supplies to help you create: paint, scissors, glue, tape, stickers, paper, etc.
  • 3 photos will be chosen in each of the following 5 categories to be featured on M&T and DSC:
  1. best use of a paper tube
  2. best use of a egg carton
  3. best use of a plastic container
  4. most colorful
  5. most functional
  • Challenge entries must be submitted by April 20th at midnight to be featured on Earth Day, April 22nd.

The best part is, everyone’s a winner! We just want to see how creative you all are! So get your scissors holstered and tape ready to tear, it’s craft challenge time!!

my girls are so in! I’m featuring a countdown to earth day book/activity/green step/website or porduct and i’d love to feature this!

So funny. I’ve been thinking about doing recycled crafts with my kids in honor of Earth Day! I started a junk box that my hubby is frowning upon- more clutter! I have a few neat ideas, but would love to see what others are doing with their junk to create! This looks like a fun challenge.

Oooooohhhh. This looks like lots of fun! I will be up all night thinking of great ways to use these items, and have a huge supply of, well, supplies to go along with it! LOL!! Gotta get the sis and niece involved too:)
